Ok, Here we go. I have an Awful noise that sounds like it is coming from the A/C compressor. When the car is on(At IDLE), there is a nya nya nya nya nya noise that sounds like a diesel would. I have no idea what would cause this noise, but it is getting worse and is driving me crazy. With an Intake and Exhaust, i can STILL hear this noise over my engine.

Thanks !

Is the noise present with AC on? Off?
Remove the AC/Alt belt. Run to confirm the noise is gone. Spin the AC clutch by hand to check the clutch bearing. Spin the Alt to check it as well.

Damn, I just sent my parts car off with a good compressor. Didn't want to let the refrigerate out in my garage.

Just swap over the bearing and clutch assembly. You will not need to release the freon to do this.

You can use a steering wheel puller to remove the pulley assmbly from the unit. You will need to watch out as there's not a lot of room but a trick around this is to pull the 4 mounting bolts, drop the unit down then replace the top two bolts in the bottom holes. Gives you more room to work. I suggest an FSM if you don't have one. Will give you the exploded view of the AC compressor ... there's a small "C" clip in back of the pulley, holds the bearing on. Not a bad job really ... doing an engine is worse IMHO!

Cashoit !!!! Sup Bro!
