Cigarette lighter, any recommendations?

Mine burnt out and I tried buying a couple of universals that were supposed to fit but nothing. Can someone lead me in the right direction, even a link?

thanks!

maybe this? http://www.courtesyparts.com/25330a-...ml?cPath=1783&

not sure if its an actual lighter, it looks like a 12v cap for the lighter, but it could be an actual lighter (best bet would be to call and ask)

I'm pretty sure that's just a cap.

You sure? Cause that looks exactly like the stock cap. I'll have to check my car later.

I agree that it does look like just the cap which I have in addition to the burnt out lighter but I'm looking for the pop out when hot lighter. Like I said, I had one that worked for years but can't find the right size one any more.

My Pontiac had thed same issue, it took the SHORT one, not the universal.

Order the other size one or do as above and get the OEM one (or junkyard). Does the lighter area give power when you have a car charger plugged into it?

Or you could just quit smoking in your car. (Coming from a smoker btw)

You might need the short one then, or w/e one is the different length than the universal fit.

I never use the actual lighter. Usually, it'll either be filled with the radar/laser detector adapter, or one of those pipes that look like a cigarette lighter, so it's inconspicuous.
