Poll: I'd like opinions on spoiler options please
Hey guys. I'm nearly equally torn between my three options (No Spoiler, Lip Spoiler, Modified Type II Spoiler). Maybe a poll could help me decide.
Option 1: No Spoiler. This is how I have been riding since 2007 when I completed my custom body work. I have left it like this for 5 years mainly because 1.) I wanted to enjoy the clean look and 2.) I have been too nervous to put holes in my custom trunk ('96 trunk with the "wave" and the keyhole removed). But, after 5 years, I think I am ready for a change.
Option 2: Lip Spoiler. I like it a lot but I am afraid it might not be aggressive enough (but, then again, maybe that's a good thing?). Pros are light weight and no holes to drill (stick-on).
Option 3: Modified Type II Spoiler. This is a Custom Enterprise "Type II" (Like Stillen's original Type II which is very similar to OEM but a little taller), modified with the inner two legs chopped off and filled in (two outer legs retained). Not pictured is a clear LED 3rd brake light. I had this spoiler modified and painted at the same time I had all my body work done in '07 - I just held off installing it. It was always my dream to have a Type II modified with the inner legs removed. But I am having mixed feelings when considering it against my other two options.
What do you guys think?

Lip spoiler looks nice. and breaks up the flat line that our trunks have on profile. personally I think that type II is ugly. The stock spoiler would look ok too. With your body kit though, IDK about stock style.

lip spoiler definitely. despite what crusher says, my first impression of your rear diffuser is that it actually looks really sleek with no spoiler. so id go with the lip since its subtle enough.

Lip spoiler all day... drilling holes for spoiler=rust/rot in the future.....lip spoiler all day long...subtle yet pleasing.to the eye.... BTW is that an actual kit or is that the classic rear lip??

In person, I liked the type II spoiler. But in pictures, not so much. Maybe it's the lack of inner legs that's throwing the look off...not quit sure yet.
I say try out the lip spoiler for 6 months and see if it grows on you.
Have you decided yet which option you're going to go with?
