I own a 99 max 5spd. The car was driving fine and when I went into reverse to back the car up it stalled. I tried to restart the car and it keeps cranking but will not start. The fuel pump doesnt sound like its turning on. I check all my fuses and the eng con 2 fuse under the hood is burned out. I replace the fuse and it pops instantly.
Before I had driven the car I had reset the ecu for a cel. So I decided to check now for a bare wire. All the wires are fine. I unplugged the ecu and turn the ignition on and fuse does not pop. But as soon as I plug the ecu back in it pops the fuse. Did my ecu go bad?
