Projector Headlights

Have any of you seen or know where to get projector headlights for the max?? you know..those ones that accords have..
BTW Does anyone know the difference btwen projector and stock headlights?? and........How much would an HID conversion cost? is it worth it or should i get those imitation bulbs??

There are no aftermarket projector headlights available for the Maxima. You have the closest thing because you have a 1999 Maxima. HID conversion: $400-$450 for an average kit.

oohh i see..thanx, the other night i saw an X5 with HID lights but..wierd they seem to turn purple-ish on and off...??wierd stuff

That is because BMW uses auto-leveling xenons. They have a naturally purple color, but when you go over a bump they relevel to the road, so you see them from a different angle for a second.

Ohh...pretty sweet..Why didn't Nissan think of that?!?!? lol..hey the lights on the new Infiniti QX5 are reallllly bright i think even better than the BMW's

I haven't seen them.
The 2002 Maxima still does not have the auto-leveling feature, but they come standard so you can't really argue with Nissan. Xenons are a $500 option on BMWs, and even more for other cars (some of which do not even have the auto-leveling feature).

HID conversion is a bad idea on the max - especially if u do offroad stuff where u need yor high beams.......read the FAQ's

saying why didn't Nissan think of that is no smarter than asking why Nissan didn't put 20" wheels on the maxima stock.
