Stuck trunk problem so can I remove the back seat?

So i've been doing some research about this stuck trunk problem and the way I found to open it won't work because I have a huge speaker in the back. So I was thinking if I take the back seat out would I be able to reach in the trunk and release it?

even if you remove the back seat and the plate behind it you still have limited room if you have to navigate around a speaker box. you need to be directly in the center of the trunk at the bottom in order to release the latch...

So what would be the best way to open it? I used WD - 40 to spray the latch and it opened it a little bit more but not completely especially when I have someone constantly press the button on the door while i pull the trunk up it still won't open

my buddies trunk sticks every once ina while and you just have to hit the button a bunch of times repeatedly to try and work it open. you may have to crawl in through the back and move the sub to get to the latch and pry it open with a flathead or something... would suck, but you gotta do what you gotta do...

Next time, dispose of the bodies currently occupying the trunk before trying to add more... tsk tsk

sooooo the key doesn't unlock the trunk? you only have a valet key for your car? sounds like it's time to have primary key made to fit your locks.

As a side benefit, ride, handling and gas mileage will improve, too.
