A/C charge questions...
'99... A/C doesn't seem to be getting very cold. Compressor is kicking in and there's some cooling, but not much. So, I figure I should check the pressures, try the quick and easy re-charge as a first option if it's low and see where it gets me, look for leaks later :-)
First question: Where's the high pressure fitting? The low pressure is obvious enough but I didn't see the high pressure fitting.
Second question: What are the usual pressures in this car low/high, and with compressor on.
Thanks,

If your going to do the charge in a can, you don't need to tap into the high side.
Get a charge kit with a gauge & hose, charge on a warm, not hot day through the low side until the idiot gauge indicates the system is full. (usually a green area on the idiot gauge).

I usually like to at least see the pressures on the high side as the compressor comes on and off so I have a clue what's going on. Makes me feel good to see it in the right ranges :-)
