2 step and ecu questions and help please.

ok so i have a 97 maxima se cali spec, 5spd, im looking into a programmable ecu with a 2step function for later use. i know greddy has the ultimate emanage but is it direct plug and play or do i have to buy a harness etc? ive been looking for other brands that sell programmable ecus with the 2step function but still no dice(hard time even finding an aftermarket ecu for a maxima). can someone please help me out, id like to keep the price range under 400, and need direct plug and play, my boys shop can do the tunning, kinda confused atm so please someone with aftermarket ecu get back at me. and if you got info or links or suggestions let me know too.
also should i run a 95 ecu?

If you just want 2 step, theres this http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox

But for a couple hundred more youre better off with an emanage ultimate.

Under $400 and plug and play is not very likely.

Your 98 ECU is fine.

EU is the best bang for your buck, just troll the classifieds and you will find a deal on one, I got mine with full harness (not PnP), with your budget. As far as wiring it, search for dandymax's write up on vq power. It shows you basically all you need to know about wiring that bad boy up.

WOW, you all are nice and surprised he didn't get flamed.

Search man, look a few threads down and you will see the PNP thread. This "if and when it happens" will be the first actual plug in play stand alone.

I'll let TSD and others do the flaming, I just wanted to give him a little info. Also op, that stand alone might gauge your interest but it will probably be above your budget. Read through it and speak with Aackshun as he is heading the project

But it won't be $400, $500-$600 is the range.
