What do you people think of this exhaust?
This is the muffler a former coworker had on his Frontier.
Here's a vid i found to give a general idea of the sound. Since it's on a truck, it might be a bit louder since there's several feet of tailpipe after the muffler, whereas our cars would have a foot or less.

This is the same beast I used with my MES tubing kit along with a 2.5" inlet/outlet 22" long x 4" round (Magnaflow 10436)....Why buy the cheap ebay system and install Magnaflow mufflers? Or just purchase a MES tubing kit and install your own mufflers.....here's my $350 system!

sounds like mine but a bit quieter... maybe the muffler needs some break in time? i need to post a vid of my new muffler. this is what i bought to replace the cannon. its completely straight through.

No wonder why the FR-S whooped you.
This guy wasnt stock. I beat g35s and auto 350zs on freeway. This guy just launched 2 cars ahead in like 3 seconds then stayed there.... He had to have something. Even modded civic si that claim 197hp. None jumped like this

Seriously though, convert that injen into a short ram or route it to the fender.
I'm waiting on my warpspeed y-pipe, custom warpspeed resonated testpipe and cmax03's crush bent 2.5" cat-back with cattman 22" resonator and flowmaster 40 series to get here. I think it'll sound smooth, if not I may test the waters with a different muffler like a magnaflow. I really want a blitz nur-spec or jic-magic muffler but those are hard to find and usually cost at least as much as the whole above named set-up combined.

ok you got a point with squeezing out hp and resonators but i never said that cat back don't make power. 10hp est at the crank at the most which will be unnoticeable on the butt dyno.
my ebay 2.5" resonated cat back is very straight through. the resonator is slim and i'm pretty sure they designed it with the least cost possible which to me = straight through. being cheap not even sure if it does anything for sound deadening. the big fart can is just a larger, thicker version of the resonator.
as i see it, a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust will perform just like any other 2.5" system (res and mufflers taken out of the equation). to me a cattman cat back looks to be more restrictive than an ebay version just because of the big resonator and a conventional looking muffler. the only difference i see between the ebay and anything else is quality of the product itself. difference gains between a custom mandrel 2.5" vs cattman vs ebay will be tiny imo
thats the warpspeed performance package right? i considered the pacesetter but decided agaisnt it cause its not SS but they make up for it a little with the paint.
i've heard that setup (but with a 2.5:cat) and doesn't sound ricey

and i think it sounds better than my buddys greddy catback...idle, cruise, wot. however i wana buy a apexi setup and see the sound difference between the 3.

I had the same extension piece made for my car. I'm running the cheapest ebay catback I could find and replaced the muffler with a turbo muffler. I think it sounds pretty good. I need to get an exhaust clip made but I've been lazy and my camera sucks...
I've been debating on running a test pipe but really don't want my car much louder..
