Same here. I'm interested on the mods you have , especially the exhaust.
Sorry about what happened to you. Back where I'm from they would have fixed the car (the insurance) but here they don't even bother.

Definitely totaled but glad you are in good spirits. The car was designed very well for those kinds of accidents hence why Morgan Freeman still drives a 97 Nissan Maxima.....LMAO!!

I would have to buy the car back from the insurance company. I don't really plan on doing that. The car is in Harrisburg and I live in Pittsburgh, over 200 miles away. I would have to pay for transportation.

The exhaust is the custommaxima.com/eBay exhaust with the stupid 4.5 inch tip cut off and a cheap pep boys tip welded on.

Yeah I know. I'd really like to pass my front suspension on to someone who would use it. With that in mind, there will be a Maxima with adjustable caster/camber strut mounts and roll center adjustable LCAs in a junk yard in the Harrisburg, PA area soon. Eibach springs and Koni yellows.

It also has an Emanage Ultimate plug-n-play harness with DTC suppressing resistors installed.

I might have to track it down after it gets junked. The wheels and tires are worth at least 500.

I hope you have receipts for that stuff. If you do, submit it to your insurance company. I did that with my last car i had was totaled, and I got back more money because of it.

Well I made the harness and modified the LCAs myself, so there are no receipts.

I'll check for receipts, but it has been multiple years for some of that stuff. I've never been known as a guy who holds onto receipts, honestly. Lesson learned.

Check e-mail order confirmatins for anything you ordered. Online sales invoices count as receipts.

thank god for FWD!
Funny enough, that is exactly what they did with my 2k. I had a very similar accident but nowhere near the severity of damage.

With Usaa it was 80% and they gave me the choice. If it wasn't for the fact that I couldn't quickly find a clean leather manual 02-03 (let alone an 00-01 that didn't need all the work I've done on mine) for a reasonable price, and that they wouldn't let me have any of the aftermarket parts I have installed, I would have taken the money. However, I still have no car payment . . . .so there is that.
