Transmission/Motor Mount

Need some help. Driver's side transmission/motor mount that is located under the air box. Should this have a bolt on either side? I only have 1 which allows it to move. If there are suppose to be 2, does anyone know what size the bolt is so I can purchase another?

Thanks

The part of the mount attached to the chassis is welded on. There's 4 bolts that hold the actual mount to the transmission. And a long bolt that goes through them both that holds them all together.

Ok, the long bolt does not come all of the way through to the other side, should it and should it have a nut on the other end? Thanks

The bolt, when tightened down all the way will stick out about 1/2" to 3/4". Theres not a separate nut. Its welded to the mount. If you have movement then the rubber bushing is probably shot.

Upon further inspection, the bolt is missing. Started to take a test drive after replacing my struts and car dipped down on driver's side and sounded like the axle had come out of the transmision. Hoping that it is just the transmission is moving enough to cause this and will be fixed by getting the bolt. My luck it will have caused more damage. Anybody know the size of the bolt by chance?

If A/T, the mount is $105 OEM. If you currently have the aluminum mount, then you will also need some modified bolts which are shorter which run ~$38 for all 4 OEM or hack saw the existing ones.

I just did all four of mine, PITA, but the transmission mount is different for manual and auto. The Manual is silver while the auto is black. I bought the auto by accident and had to turn around and buy one for a manual. If you want to purchase the auto from me I will sell it to you for $20.00 plus shipping ($6.00). They are not OEM but are good quality. I noticed a major improvement overall.
