Engine dies when cold and AT put into gear
When the temperature is moderate to cool outside, and the car hasn't been run for a few hours - being nice and cold, the car starts fine, and idles fine - no issues there - as SOON as the car is put into ANY gear on the Auto Tranny, the engine dies...
Assuming I just need to service the trans, flush and fill fluid. However, someone suggested it COULD be the filter...
So, first off, are our at trans filters easily replaceable, and could that even be the issue - or would a flush/fill most likely resolve this?
I DID search, but didn't find anything - could have just been my inability to word the search terms correctly...
