I'm trying to find out how the UK/Euro spec maxima rear foglights work. Do they use the same rear light-cluster as the US?

Also, where is the switch on the dash? I have a spare unused switch location next to the dashboard dimmer - is this where the rear foglight switch goes?

I have two tail-lights and two brake-lights on each side at the back of my car, one tail/brake on the rear fender per side, and one tail/brake on the trunklid on each side. What I want to do is wire the two trunklid brake-lights to come on with a switch on the dashboard (just like euro-spec foglights) OR when I press the brake pedal. My guess is that the euro-spec actually uses the trunklid brakelight in this way, and that there's probably a factory rear foglight switch available... Is this right?
