Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and i've been reading up on a lot of your posts. I've got a 98 maxima se thats pretty much bone stock. I wanna get a Warpspeed intake and y-pipe to start, Anybody have any thoughts on a good set up for an exhaust system. I dont want a loud *** fart muffler though. Thanks in advance.

Apex-i/Cattman

I dont have it yet but Cattman y-pipe/Apex-i world sport setup sounds really great together..Cattman is pricy but worth every penny

From quietest to loudest:
- Apex-i world sport (best in my book)
- Greddy (loud annoying drone when combined with Y(no good)
- Stillen (pricy/loud)

I have the warpspeed ypipe and been running it for a little while now. I love it. It sounds great gave me a nice feel in pickup. If your looking at cat backs or what not it depends on how loud your looking. Apexi is said to be barely loud at all and only a little more noisy than stock.

I got a OBX R muffler and a Random Technology Cat and it sounds really nice I am thinking about getting a b-pipe but I think that it will make it too loud so I'll probably keep my set up the way it is

Good Luck with your modding its fun

The Maxima's exhaust is rather efficient. You can leave the stock cat and exhaust on without any loss of performance.
