no more $$$ to spend now...

well for the past week or so, i have been debating on how i wanted to spend my x-mas money (like on a CAI ,springs,RSB) but today my motherf****** starter decided to go out on me. so there goes the majority of my x-mas money and the CAI i was going to order from warpspeed today. i got instructions on how to replace it from VBX maxima so hopefully it won't be too hard. i can also get the 10 tooth version from advanced auto parts for $120 (minus $60 core) so that isn't too bad. well thanks for reading, i had to vent i'm soo ****ed right now. if any of you have any tips for replacing the starter u are more than welcome to share them with me!

Sorry to hear that this got you but maybe you can gain back the money soon enough for the CAI. The starter did not leave you stranded anywhere did it?

Ohhhhh, sounds all-too familiar. Good luck w/ the starter swap. If you have clear instructions, you should be good-2-go. It's a pretty easy job.
