im putting some red/clears on in a few weeks, dont want to screw up the paint or the seals and have never taken these apart before. just want to see what clips/screws come off where and where to apply pressure so as not to screw up my old tails. thanks

You won't screw it up. It's just 4 nuts (each light) and unplugging of harnesses, then push slow and steadily in a solid spot from inside the trunk on the back of the tailights as already mentioned...Go for it dude.

Yes its easy. Now need for pictures make sure you get something for the water.....

If you dont seal your tailights you will get water leakage. So in between the tail light and trunk you need some type of water proof seal. Usually a strip that looks like string cheese and you just stick it around the the sides of it. Forgot what its called. Adk at home depot.

are you talking about removing the taillights for the car or removing the red and orange lenses from the taillights themselves.
your post makes it sound like you are talking about removing the taillights, which is super easy...
if you are talking about removing the lenses from the taillights themselves, that is a whole different matter and I have no idea what the best method is to do that.

each lamp has 4 10mm nuts. gonna have to use a ratchet extension on certain ones. That sticky crap holds them in good, i actually thought i missed a nut (no homo), just gotta pull hard and theyl come out (no homo). Just leave some sticky **** behind to prevent leakage.

I recently installed some red/clear taillights. It was my first time. Its pretty straights forward. Basic tools. If you're getting the red/clear from ebay [Eagle Eye], the weather strip is provided for each piece.
