I lied. Needs clutch, flywheel, passenger side cv, and I'm finally going with red sway bar endlink bushings and lca bushings.

I might get my B-pipe fixed; it's been hitting my rear axle on bumps-pacesetter brand bent wrong from the manufacturer~didn't notice until I lowered it slightly, bangs on bumps and is annoying.

That SHOULD do it for a while.

JWT ECU just shipped. Thanks to Ben and the lab! Flywheel is here, clutch is here. I'll have the poly lca's and end links here by weeks end-thanks to mightymax95 for those last two!

Not sure if I'll be able to get it in to the shop before next year.

Op thanks for posting this! Has cured me of wanting to undertake this and get an old Camaro to play with....

just kidding!

Although I am considering pulling my motor to go through it an all attached accesorries to bring it back to 1999 specs and stick with 3.o though as my interior and body is in excellent shae. I admire you tenacity for undertaking this!

For sure.

I'm wondering if I should create another thread titled along those lines. Or not. Lol

Right now I have about all I need to do it in a day.
I would have all my parts gathered and ready to install, but napa has messed up twice now on my axle, and I keep ordering more in the mean time. Ha.

The JWT ECU is in and makes me happy.

Installed a quick disconnect on my battery at the same time. ~ I am always disconnecting my battery for whatever reason, and I really like the switch.
Also clear rear corners with chrome red bulbs installed last weekend.

Ordered a progress RSB, new plugs, subframe bushings, engine cover, whole OEM fog kit, manual shift trim, boot, ****, grounding kit, and I'm getting all led'ed out from an awesome org'er.
Blue theme.

So.....to be installed in no particular order:

Rear main seal for transmission-DONE
Passenger whole axle-DONE
Driverside whole axle~Autozone Gold new-DONE
Clutchmaster stage 2 kit-DONE
Ralco RZ flywheel-DONE
plugs
Pressed polys into lca's-DONE
All FSB polys-DONE
Progress RSB-DONE
Subframe bushings kit-DONE
Grounding kit
All led's~DONE
Fogs/brackets/switch-DONE
Oil catch can~seller backed out :/
Otto FSB to clear the new:
NWP spacers

Retroing headlights soon too.-Everything has been sent to Chris~pending arrival

I think I'm remembering everything...

Should all be done by the end of the month. That's my goal anyways.

Edit:
Add a Ralco RZ short throw shifter.

eBay, and like all other chrome over bulbs, they're a little dim. I'm ok with it.
It's the X5 brand for $11

Sent some headlights and a kit to ChrisMan287 to be retrofit today.
No big deal.

I was going to replace my corner driving lights with some I found on Amazon cheap.
It was too good to be true @ around $15 each.
They were crap.
Looking elsewhere now.

Ideas anyone?

Mine are still good, but the rubber around them has turned into more of a sticky tar than anything that resembles rubber anymore.

Try a junkyard around you? I'm sorta in the same boat with my corners...I chipped one of the corners during removal and my eye keeps getting drawn to it.

Also, as you know, parts pop up on the classifeids here quite often so...

Courtesy Parts wants a C-note per corner light

^^Thanks.
The search continues.
I found another site that looks pretty good.
About $60 each though.
I'm going to wait a bit to buy.
I'm sure once my retrofits are done, that will be the very next thing.

Finally I have a shop day for my Maxima.
This Monday morning, I'm getting at least my clutch, flywheel, axles, RSB, and polys put in/pressed.

I'm REALLY hoping aackshun is right about my timing ring being bolted on to my OEM flywheel and not welded; because that needs to go on my new flywheel...

If it is welded, I'm screwed.

aackshun's a pretty good guy, he knows his ****. If he says it's bolted, then it's bolted.

You need to tell your LED guy to get off his @ss and get you those LEDs (should be able to actually get to working on them this coming week for ya)

I don't think he has seen it to know is all.
He is right 99% of the time though. And the 1% he is wrong, I think he's just goofing around. Lol
My mechanic is making me head trip because he said if it's welded on he doesn't want to mess with it.

And, yeah, LED's!!!
I know your life just got real busy, and I understand, so no worries.

The only thing that sucks is not having heat.

Oh, and I hope this Amsoil is worth the price. :/
I read good things and I got the org discount..
Looks like yellow water. Lol

Amsoil ATF is good ****, for sure. NOt sure of the otehr stuff though I've not really heard bad...

My trans guy put it in my Grand am at 190K and my Max at 142K. Full system dialysis with Amsoil and both cars were butter-smooth afterwards.

What's up, you don't like our Loops.....loop 610, surrounded by another loop (Beltway 8) which is also surrounded by another loop (Tx Highway 99).....don't hate Houston for it's large terrain which is more than 100 miles wide....Most small lown folks get lost in our infrastructure highway system.....you just happened to go down the wrong Highway at the wrong time....even if it's 8 lanes wide (On Oneside)!

Cwrap. Just had my flywheel and clutch installed and it won't go into gear.
My mechanic is dropping it again to check it over.
I suggested the clutch alignment might be off; he says it shouldn't even bolt back together if it was.
I'm pissed is all I know, but that's almost always the case when something comes up.
I'll update what happens from here..

Did he have to pull the trans? IF SO...make DAMNED SURE he sands the HELL out of the mating surface, trans/engine. This is a HUUUUUUGE ground plane for the vehicle, and folks ALWAYS have issues if it hasn't been done.

Thanks. I told him about that yesterday.
He says it's probably a wrong part, but I doubt it.
I looked over all the part numbers.
I think it's his bad.
I hope I don't lose my amsoil over this...

At the shop now. He says the raxles axle is a bit too long on my passenger side. Would that cause it?

I'm broke as hell at the moment.
I owe my mechanic around $400 on top of the $600 I just paid having a lot of other stuff done at the same time.
I have to return the raxles axle too. Kinda blows my mind that they fcuked up.
Good thing taxes are almost in the bank.
I'm editing my to do list now. Lol
