no mods yet, wife says all money is for baby lol future mods are rims and maybe a body/lip kit, and a paint job. I'd like to boost it down the road depending on how expensive it is. I love it as it is right now, well needs plugs sputters when you get on it. maybe lower it a little, the civic i had was way too low and it would scrape.

Congrats on the 2nd kid! Our first is on the way, early January.

If you want some relatively inexpensive appearance mods, I recommend LEDs (shameless plug, see my sig ).

It is deffinately better than the civic. I've had two civics since Feb. tax return. First burnt 5qts of oil in two weeks.... second had a coolant leak plugged it with bars stop leak, then was burning the coolant. So I went back to Nissans, never had issues with the altima other than cam sensor twice. The guy that had it before me installed led strips under the headlights that work off a toggle switch, you can kinda see them in the first pic. As far as an underglow light I need to figure out what color I want to paint the car or if I want to leave it black.. I'd like to paint it Mt. Dew yellow. or safety green with orange accents..

That's a fully loaded 5 speed Maxima SE. You wouldn't know it, but it is the top of the line Maxima, above the GLE. Congrats.

mine is the top of the line? damn. big step from the civic. lol it does have the power leather seats. seats are torn in places but it is a 96. Its got a lot of power too, I've driven a v6 once... took some getting used to as well as shift range, I kept sticking it in 5th and missing 3rd on the way home from getting it. lol

Yup Leather and moonroof usually mean that there's a whole bunch of other stuff. I see:

auto-climate control (optional on SE)
The car (used to?) have Bose (optional on SE)
foglights (standard on SE)
white face gages (standard on SE)

You might also have heated seats.......2 buttons on the center console just below your fingers when u rest your right arm on the armrest.

Anti-lock brakes? I think I see the extra brake lines in the engine bay. When you turn the key to the RUN position and all the LEDs light up, do you see a yellow one for ABS? If so, then yeah, ABS.

Check this post from the FAQ about what your car may also have;

1st, look in the trunk to make sure the speakers (and Bose AMP on the speakers) are OK.
If the original radio wiring harness in the dash is still intact, you can buy a used 4th gen Bose head unit for like $50 and plug it in. The HUs changed their look over the years (95 to 99) and the last one, 1999 Bose HU, looks the best.

Why does your intake manifold look so clean compared to the rest of the engine bay?
