I have been wanting one of the auto dim, compass, outside temp. display mirrors for soooo long now. I just can't bring myself to glue a button to my windshield, I want to continue to use my ceiling mount stick. I have asked every manufacturer and they all say you need the button. I have asked around here if anyone has bought one and used the stock stick but no answers.
I am not overly excited about the idea of buying a $200-$300 product and experimenting with it. But I just might...
How does the I30 mount? Ceiling stick or windshield button?

haven;t been able to look at hte pictures on that link, but the 95-99 I30 auto dim mirror is a direct mount on on 4th GEn maximas.i has the same mount points.
Now I just need to figure out the wiring.
