Sylvania 9004 SilverStars...

I went to my local Advanced Auto Parts to pick up hood lift supports b/c mine are shot. Well, right next to the check out counter were these new Sylvania 9004ST bulbs. They compare with cool blues as follows, Cool Blues=3500K, SilverStar=4000K. I really don't think that for $50.00/pair it is worth changing my stock bulbs. I think I'm going to take them back and wait until my stock bulbs are shot. Unless anyone can persuade me it is a good idea to keep these. Anyone with good/bad experience with these bulbs please comment.

Thanks

give them a try

their color temp is right up there with the regular HID's.

i'm pretty sure that they will look brighter than the PIAA Platinums.

The hood supports were $15.19/ea. from Advanced Auto Parts. They are Strong Arm hood lift supports. My local Nissan dealer wanted $58.00/ea. I don't think so.

i posted in the 4th gen and general forums. however my post was looking for people who have em (basically soliciting feedback). i got a few responses in the general forum about the prices, but no one commented on if they are worth it or not. there is a link or two on where to purchase them (in case you want to get em and do us all a favor)

check it out!

Piaa xtreme 9004's exist??? I checked the piaa site and it doesn't seem to be there. If so I might get a pair since I'm going to pick up a set of Piaa fogs this weekend.

Yes, please do try the lights. I saw them in Autozone and posted it on the forum around Christmas time, but no one then had tried it.

I'm glad someone's finally got a set. Please do tell us what you think of them

Could they be a replacement for PIAAs?

its because they're cold, hydraulics just work that way when the temp. is low outside...
