I have replaced my speed sensor on the trans, but all my gauges work any suggestions on where I should start?

 

i had to take the gauge cluster out, take it apart, and resolder 4 connecting points that are behind the speedo, there were hairline cracks in the solder if you have good eyes you can see it other wise you need a magnify glass to them

one of my other symptoms was cruise control didnt work

the reason why your speedo still works but you are getting a cel is because the signal goes from the tranny>speedo>ecu the signal from speedo to ecu gets broken up and throws a cel

its pretty easy if you have ever done soldering plenty of space, you just have to melt it and let it cool or you can make new ones connections if you know what you are doing

 

You need a new electrical board for your cluster, wat year is your car? I have working clusters that I'm willing to sell u the board from, the board is highly easy to change it only has Phillip screws holding it in

 

I have a 96 thanks I will have to pull the cluster out and take a look
