99 maxima Se steering wheel

99 maxima Se steering wheel

I been searching all day and I cant find a straight answer, nrg has a hub adapter for maxima but says its only for 89-98 and I've seen a lot of threads about 97-99 steering wheels been the same, so is there any guys with an aftermarket steering wheel on a 99 maxima, thanx in advance.

I have an aftermarket wheel in my 99. 95-99 are all the same hub, just the steering wheel changed in 97 as you've discovered. You'll be fine. If you want to see pics, let me know.

Could you please I'd love to see the pics, I was just wondering because the nrg site only mentioned 89-98 ;-)

If it says it will fit any year from 95-99 it will fit. I didnt make the jump simply because I wanted to keep my airbag. Scurred I suppose

That fact that only mentioned 89-98 got me thinking that maybe my 99 was different or had something else that the 97-98 didnt...

97-99 are the same. The clock springs are a bit different for 95/96 wheels. If it says it will fit a 98, it will fit a 99.

Clock springs are kind of irrelevant though, as they get nuked with an aftermarket hub/wheel.
