Search is my friend. After much reading of strut/spring threads, I cannot find an answer.

I have a '97 GLE with 82,000 miles. I have ordered the Maxspeed GD springs.

Do I need to change my struts? My ride is great (other than being stock) right now.

If I do need to change my sruts, what will work best?

Any advice based on experience would be great. I am not interested in what you may have heard from someone else (he said stories)!
