Suspension making squeaky noise

Whenever my car goes over bumps it makes squeaky/chirpy noises. Anyone have any idea what part of the suspension this is? Im hearing maybe bushings?

I've had the same problem. It turned out to be the shocks. If the car sways alot when going over bumps then that's most likely the issue. Good Luck!

Yeah my back end fishtails like crazy when going over bumps. Thanks a lot for the info! How much are replacement shocks?

The shocks themselves were about 70ea (local autozone), also make sure to check your mounts.

ok hold the phones here. Everyone has automatically assumed it is the shocks and there are literally 20 failed items that could make it squeak. If your shocks are bad you would be bouncing up and down for 30sec after each bump in the road. Is this the case? If not it is either your strut bearings or likely CA bushings

Just look at the shocks from under the car...if they are leaking and rusty and decrepit , they are toast

also check your end links. if they are stock, replace them as they are most likely dead at this point. our car was making a squeak when the suspension would compress. turned out to be the end links.
