my max is currently 99 5 speed... my motor is 97 fed spec...will be swapping to 97 fed spec ecu shortly...so for not 99 5 speed...most likely by the time this is ready 97 5 speed setup lol

It will all depend upon your car's current setup. Being that everyone has different setups the results will vary. Being able to make changes and setting up how the motor handles the changes is the main idea. You tell the motor what to do and when so to speak. Wanna run more timing? Shouldn't be a problem. There are many advantages to having a standalone ECU.

I don't see Maxima listed for nistuning. For me, it is too expensive. I'd have to buy another ECU (mine has been JWT modified) and then another $600+ for their setup.

MS3, with everything I would need to run a VQ35 engine would be about $800.. Complete.
