99 Nissan Maxima SE antenna/clock

I had a question about the antenna and my clock. My friend has a 1998 and his antenna goes up and down. I'm wondering if the fuse is out and if so, where can I find it.

Also, my clock keeps flickering on and off and keeps going back down to 1:00, does anyone know where the fuse for that is??

The power antenna is fed by fuse#40 (Always on); there is a control circuit from the radio that activates it - fuse #21 feeds that.

Clock is also fed by fuse #40 to hold it's time; it is also activated by fuse #21 when you turn key to ACC or ON. Good luck.

The clock is probably suffering from cold solder connections. If you know how to solder, it's an easy thing to do.

Just replaced mine with a used one off eBay. I tried soldering each connection on the board to no avail. $18 dollars well spent.

Regarding the antenna, check to see if the assembly's motor runs when ignition and radio is turned on. If you hear it operating, you may just need just a replacement antenna. Easy repair..just completed it myself. Also, see if the power connector is properly seated into the assembly. Some people disconnect it after the antenna breaks off, since they don't want the motor to operate.
