Moog strut mounts k90655 will not work.

So I ordered these strut mounts because I saw so many recommendations for them. Well I went to install the mounts and even on my kyb shocks that have a longer stud I can only thread the nut about halfway on. Don't even think about using them on the Oem shocks.

When sat upside down next to each other the moog one is significantly taller. I'm baffled by this. Anyone else have any issues with installing them?

Interesting, the k90655 is listed for 00-08 Maxima.

What mount is the shorter one? Its not an OEM 4th gen mount.

I ordered two sets from eBay one set came with used parts and this set appears to be wrong. The other mount that I received was shorter but it was an Oem part. So it was just like the ones that came off the car.

This has went from a simple install to a complete headache. And it looks like my car will be sitting for a few weeks because I also stripped the threads off my new shock trying to install this mount. Stupid I admit but there's no changing that now. Hopefully I can get refunded and just go down to the parts store.

Wow apparently I ordered the wrong mounts? Which would mean the parts store gave me the wrong number....

Your pride isn't hurt, but rather shining because you've admitted your mistake.

Yea me too! However I should've known better than to listen to anything a guy at a parts counter says. Regardless, problem solved and thanks everyone that helped! I really appreciate it and my Maxi will too once she's lowered. Ill post some pics afterwards.
