Mudflap mounting screws

Prob stupid question, but could i just buy any type of mudflap screws or would I actually need to buy some that are specifically made for our maxima?

Use a genuine Maxima mud flap screws only!!
Made in Japan by little girls with little fingers in sweat shops. Only produced for the 4th gen Maxima. Please keep these little girls employed, their family's need their income!!!!

I've heard that a stainless steel sheet metal screw would work, but that might void the warranty.

Void the warranty? Lol, this car is a 99.5, almost 14 years old, im not worried about a warranty, sir.

Here's a pic of what the stock ones look like, basically yea they're sheet metal screws with a nice looking black head. They thread into plastic anyway so it doesn't matter a lot. If your car has the mudflap covers they should have screws too.

Btw, how do you like my old mudflaps? lol

Ahh thanks for the info! And they didnt come in quite yet! Its been snowing a lot in the North east so perhaps delayed, but tracking said theyre out for delivery in my town

self tapping roofing screws are good too. they will have a little rubber washer under the screw head.

but yeah- when you take the plastic caps off to install the flaps, just use the same screws
