Warpseed ypipe + CAI= 0-60?

So basically im trying to improve the looks/performance of my car before I sell it in a few years. This car has lost a noticeable amt of power since i bought it in 2006. I want it to feel like the V-6 it used to be; currently prob at 9.3 secs from 0-60 . My warpseed ypipe is on its way and my cai was recently installed. How much would this combo shave off that time? 99 auto SE-L.

If its losing power maybe you should look more into maintenance to restore power rather than tryin to make more?

I was experiencing the same exact issue on my 1996 SE 5sp until I replaced my stock Y with a Warpspeed Y. Turns out the pre-cats in the stock Y were completely degraded and were plugging up the exhaust system.
The main cat was also completely plugged, we tried blowing air from an air compressor through the exhaust via the muffler with the Y pipe off and it was almost air-tight, as in air was going back at us through the muffler instead of going through the cat.
Make sure to inspect those things when you replace the Y.

Also, watch for bad 02 sensors! That can cause a very noticeable loss in power. So many things - vacuum leaks, bad compression, improper fuel pressure.

the most common noticeable power loss is due to a knock sensor problem. Hook it up to an OBD-2 code scanner (free at most parts stores, Oreilley's, etc.) and see if you need to change it.

Good stuff man! I got a P0325 code....knock sensor 1 circuit (bank 1). That explains the hesitation when i pull off.

Was your car "cured" after you changed it?

Before you fixed it, what symptoms did you have? I dont want to get my hopes up if I replace it and my car is still hesitating, etc.

Not really. Under WOT, or heavy acceleration, the ECU runs in open loop. It ignores the O2 sensors and runs a set map.
