stereo not working

I recently replaced my battery in my 1999 nissan maxima and now the entire stereo is not working. I had to replace a few fuses which had gone out(eg. for the windows) but the audio and stereo fuses are not burned out but the stereo still isnt working. Is there another fuse somewhere for the stereo and speakers that I am unaware of?

Correct me if I'm wrong, the stereo worked fine before pulling the battery and messing with fuses, no?

Is this a stock stereo? or could it possibly be a user install issue?

Another thing that comes to mind for me is why did those fuses blow for the windows and such in the first place? Could we maybe have shorted something out really bad and wrecked more stuff than we knew about?

There's a lot of possible variables, they just need to be narrowed down
