Starting problem after tranny/clutch swap (Soloution)

Alright guys Been a while since ive posted so trans went in my 98 SE 5spd and when i pulled it out did a new clutch the whole 9yrds.. Put it all back togather no start. For about a month i fiddled with it done everything.. Ran new 4 gauge wires 6 to be exact sanded them completley went through 3 starters 2 batterys did full tune up Nothing seemed to work. But i read a few posts on here and ill tell ya as much as it seems like a pain in the *** Had to Re pull the trans and u sand down the mating surfaces inbetween the engine block and the transmission it self alot of oxidation and stuff gets inbetween and actually busts the ground i kept reading trying to avoid or kept telling myself theres no way all this issues just from that. Sure enough i sanded it real clean and then started first try. Save your self some time and money by sanding it if you swap.. if need pics let me kno Hope this helps!!!!
