Antenna Mast Woes

Whatsup guys, i was trying to replace my antenna mast today and no matter what i did that sucker would not come off. I thought the rope was biding so i decided to open up the motor and saw the rope was fine.

How can i pull that mast off.I tried using a pair of needle nose pliers but that didnt help that only bent the mast any more. Here is what I am looking at.

Sometimes they don't come out no matter what you do. Use some penetrating lubricant. I then break off the mast so that I can stick a drill bit into the antenna. That way when you put it in a vise the mast doesn't get crushed flat.

Here's a good write up from a company that sells a good mast at a good price. (Some eBay masts don't work).

Ahhh, ya gotta love BS&I.

Now you can pm Maxima Joe and see if he has an antenna motor assembly.

If not, go to http://www.antennamastsrus.com/Nissa...01995-1999.htm.

They know their stuff and are good people to do business with.

LMAO, this is true.

when i was changing my spark plugs, the top left allen bolt on the engine cover was rusted to hell(like 90% of my car), so i broke the cover off and after I replaced it, plastidipped it so it wouldnt be so evident.

I LOVE BS&I
