Lowing my cefiro

Hi, i have a 96 Cefiro that im slowly doing up, ive lowered it 80mm so far on factory compressed springs in front and custom made corbra with shortened shocks and smaller bump stops in the rear, it sits on 17x8z atm but im looking into some 17/18x9z and want it lower still. I know P11 primera suspension fits the rear but what other options do i have for the front to really lower it?? with out going adjustables (car isnt as low as pic, that photo was taken before i put new rear suspension in)

I agree but am saving for a weddeing atm and they are hard to find unless i buy new ($1300-$1800) and for that price i can get a basic up, down, front and back air set up. My Cefiro only has 106kz on it so got heaps of time to do it up before the kz get to high its just at this stage im on a budget

Im also wondering if A31 Cefiro suspension is the same? looks the same but im guessing top hats are different? Unlike A32z they make superlows for the A31 and coil overs are lot easier to find

I'm not sure where you got that price from but you can get coilovers for $900 or so as litch said.

There's also a classifieds section on here and if you post a "wanted" thread you can probably get them for less.

Yea in NZ D2z, BC Golds etc are all around $1500 from a shop and hard to find good second hand ones for the A32z which is why im trying to find out what else fits. P11 Primera fit the rear and are easy to find but dont know what else i can go with for the fronts

I suppose one of us yanks could ship him a set of D2s or whatever at a significant savings. Someone in SO CAL, Portland, Seattle (major shipping hubs) could probably do it cheap enough if the seller wont.

asand1 fell free to seen me over some D2z if you want, problem is, no money to pay for them lol, would love adjustable but untill our weddings payed for thats where all my moneys going (pretty much broke till next year). After then im going to have to import some stuff anyway because cant buy kits for them in NZ eather. Thats why im choicing to do one up, they are different to do up over here, only problem with that is it makes parts hard to find and when i do find them they are never cheap. So anyone out there want to donate me some stuff, fell free LOL

you have gone as low as you can go on stock springs and shocks. drop tolerance is really tight on stock shocks. The Lowest lowering springs they make for the A32 are tein s techs and those are 2.2 inches/55.8 mm and your at 3.1 inches/80mm!! your srings are screamin, like everyone says get coilovers for sure. I have my 99 Cefiro project going too and im in need of coilovers as well on running 17s though

Thanks. Yea ive droped mine a hell of alot for standard shocks so i think coil overs or bags will be the way to go for sure, first on the list is new rims though. Once ive found the rims i want ill lower the car around them. Im thinking of buying a cheap run about the the cefiro will be off the road so i can work on it properly and not have to worry about getting it back together before the week ends up for work haha. Ibe got more photos of it in my album and will up load more as more works done. Thanks again
