The CF Hood uses the latch, but you have to use a file to make the hood fit. The hood is not designed to accomodate the use of the stock hydraulic openers, so you'll have to prop that baby open [some how] when you work under there. The hood is not pre-drilled for washer nozzles. The hood doesn't have a liner, so you lose a measure of fire protection with this mod. (For the price, I expected more of a 1-to-1 replacement.)
Furthermore, the CF hoods are very expensive, so they are a theft item. You should probably use pins/locks to keep it on *your* car...
That's too much downside for me, so I stuck with my stock hood.
