Removing tranaxel
Removing tranaxel
I need to replace the right side tranaxel but I cant remove it is there a way. I took the 3 bolts in the back off the tranaxel but nothing is there another bolt that's needs to come off..
What worked for me: First douse the gap real well with PB Blaster, and give it some time to seep in. Then take a screwdriver and hammer, and start with the screwdriver blade perpendicular to the gap.. Keep tapping until they separate (even a little), then just keep at it, changing the angle of the screwdriver in the gap so that it acts like a wedge... I was not able to gain access to the bolts that hold the carrier bracket on, no room.
