I have 96 maxima, and i plan on installing subs, but i notice that the trunk wont lock, meaning if i cant lock the trunk with the key. I've notice some cars if you turn the key side ways the trunk will lock and even by hitting the trunk button inside the car the trunk still wont open. Has anyone had this issue before? or do the maxima just dont have that feature?

 

there's a switch on the actual lock that will keep it from opening with any buttons, and it will only open with the key. You just push it up or down and it will *click*

 

"Valet" mode.

 

I didnt find the switch, at all. Any explanations on how it looks?... thanks!
