Rich AFR but bone white plugs?
I installed a wb, and I recently did the 00vi swap, in which I removed the VIAS and egr. I had to plug the egr valve and temp sensor back in though because I was getting sent into limp mode.
It usually stays around 14.6 at idle, and when I step on the throttle it richens out to maybe 12-11:1 afr. When I check the spark plugs, they all look like the classic pic of running lean. and the straps all look whitish powdery. Is this OK or should I stop driving it?

u mean it goes rich when you add throttle? its supposed to lol if you're driving steady it'll shoot for 14.7... when you accelerate it needs more fuel so it dumps more for a split second until you stabilize your foot again, then it looks for 14.7 again. however if you got vafc and wide open throttle setting is set at a very low throttle % then you will automatically get the WOT throttle maps that will give a steady richer mixture that you set in the hvt correction setting.

My wideband tells me rich. My plugs, according to me, say otherwise. So I wanted to ask around. I mean I can post a pic later of a spark plug so you can see what I am talking about.

I know its supposed to go rich under throttle. LOL I am currently UNtuned. I had plans for a EMU but I was scammed so I need to get the funds together for maybe a vafc or another EMU.

Yea...all logic says that it's rich...but my plugs are BONE white man. Also the ground straps look like theyve been bleached, like theres a powdery texture on them, and I can't even see the heat range mark that people talk about indicating well the heat range LOL. Maybe theyre getting washed from the fuel I don't really know. I will try to post up a pic or two.

Hmmm... looks kinda rich to me. The fire ring shows just at the point where the ground strap curves over from the tip. The top of the plug shell is very dark and sooty, showing a rich condition. Normal would be more near a dark grey ring. The white fuzzy stuff is crap (additives) in the fuel - I've seen white fuzzies (VP 109), yellow fuzzies (Sunoco 104) and red fuzzies (Renegade 102) so think about what you're sticking in the tank. The white porcelain could be because the plug is a little hot, but mostly you check for a light brown ring around the lower part of the pocelain.
For other opinions, check on the YellowBullet forums for spark plug pix and advice. This is truly a bunch of hard-core racers. "where the weak are killed and eaten"....

Thanks grey99max, you input is very appreciated! The porcelain stays white all the way down though. That's an interesting looking spark plug it has a pretty tiny strap! Is that for boosted/spray application?

I think your plugs are fine, but kinda rich, unless you're burning some oil..
