What will a High-flow cat do for me?

What will a High-flow cat do for me?
It seems like the more you gut, the raspier the car sounds and to be honest I'm not a fan of the rasp.
If I just have all pipe and a high flow cat, will there be much of a difference from just all pipe (I do have a cat now).
Will it be raspier, or with more of a growl? Or will it just happen to pop more.
I'm not even looking for loud, I just want a REALLY mean Growl.

as far as a hi flow cat it wont do nothing but having stray pipe its not the best setup for sound or performance if the pipe is too big you'll loose low rmp power.
Get a glass pack muffler but put it in the middle of your system ( where the big muffler goes under the car ) it'll sound nice but not too loud I had this setup on my envoy it almost sounded like a f1 race car wen I got on the gas going under a bridge I used a magna flow one on my car
