I dont know if to hate or love my max

This past week I was having problems with the tranny shifting hard and with the TPS and some other stuff, today I up unplug the tps so I could drive the car.. to go to work and to buy a new TPS. Just before the i got to the dealer I plug it back in.. and everything work fine... it shifted better then before.. the TPS works fine.. I just dont know. The only thing is the the OIL ligh is coming up! any ideas?

MigthyMax: Just a word of caution man, my buddies 98se auto had problems with his TPS and then something triggered seriously wrong in his auto tranny. The tranny locked up and basically fell apart. He paid about 2500 for new tranny and install and other parts he destroyed. Not sure if it the same situation but you may want it checked out before it becomes dangerous. Just a word of caution. Good luck and be safe. peace:e3 - spamman

Okay in the way to work.. The oil light was on again.. I think the oil pump is going out on my... would the the tps cause this... to happen? how hard would it be to change the oil pump? I have done the water pump on my max by my self and it was a b*tch.
