Cam/Crank/knock sensor codes.
Issue is the car continually throws the same cam&crank sensor codes over and over again. This is accompanied by stumbling, hesistation and misfires. The sensors are not the problem nor is the harness. Tested them and replaced them both new and sensors from fully functioning cars along with putting my old sensors on to working cars for them to not throw a single code about that.
The car keeps throwing these codes and im wondering what is causing it to do so. It seems as if i have some other electrical issue that needs to be addressed. Any ideas.

did you do the grounding like I mentioned in the newest new new newer thread? YOu keep pulling motors / transmissions that mating surface is crucial to get yoru motor a good ground...electronics do weird things if they don't have a good ground plane

I did do the grounds, im wondering if there is something else im missing. to cause all 4 of those sensors to throw codes and the driving issues.

Broham i found the issue!it was so simple and right infront of us!The Problem is You! Your working on the car unsupervised and you proboly put the sensors in the wrong holes just because you have a track record of using the Wrong Holes.......so take the car down the road to the nearest 16yo kid and have hime fix it for you or drop off at pepboys youll get the same results out of either.

Your working on the car unsupervised and you proboly put the sensors in the wrong holes just because you have a track record of using the Wrong Holes.......so take the car down the road to the nearest 16yo kid and have hime fix it for you or drop off at pepboys youll get the same results out of either.

I've got a 4th gen maxima that is doing the same thing. Camshaft position sensor, and knock sensor codes. At high speeds when it's warm it knocks.
I was told by a shop in town that it's one of the oxygen sensors causing it. The same shop said they were covered up with work and can't get to it right now. When of find out more..

Go by your local auto parts store and get your codes scanned.
You can use a wrench or an o2 sensor removal tool if one of your o2 sensors are bad.
Pretty much any brand, I like NGK.
Not too hard, especially if your fed spec.
Fed spec has two upstream and one downstream.
Not sure on the Cali spec, but the FSM in my sig is invaluable.
