Strut bearing question?

I recently replaced all 4 shocks and both front lower control arms with bushings. It appears i have a faulty strut bearing as i still have a knocking sound when i turn or hit a bump. Would a bad strut bearing affect alignment? If I replace it i will get it aligned again but when i did my previous alignment my car still pulls to one side...(side with clicking noise).

My mechanic also said my tie rod ends are good, my rack and pinion boot it leaking a little but it will hold.

Thanks in advance!

with the car STOPPED or less than 1MPH when you turn the wheel do you hear a clicking sound? That's strut mount bearing failure.

When you did your stuff, did you re-use the mounts that were there or go with an aftermarket?
