1997 Nissan Maxima - Vibrating please help
I have gotton all of the following done:
Replaced the air flow sensor
Tune up -- changed spark plugs
changed the harness to the c-pack
My car is still vibrating with a noise (in park, at red lights); I smell fumes and can barely accelerate past 20 miles for a few seconds.

Here's what those codes are:
P0100 - MAF Sensor
P0150 - O2 sensor, bank 1 sensor 1
P0325 - knock sensor
P0340 - camshaft position sensor
P0443 - EVAP canister purge control solenoid valve
P1335 - crankshaft position sensor (REF)
Your car can't accelerate because it is in "limp mode" because of the P0100 code - the MAF. That junkyard MAF is evidently no good.
Clear the codes and see what comes back. I think most of them will. Get a good MAF in the car, clear the codes and see what comes back. I'm thinking the P0100, P0150, P0325 and maybe the P0340 will be gone.

AND clean it with MAF cleaner before installing.

I know your trying to help, but back reading does wonders.
Unless he replaced something he thought was the MAF, he said he already got a used one at the junkyard and it appears to be faulty as well.
It could just need a cleaning, but sounds bad.

I had a similar problem on a smaller scale. Coil pack was the problem. OEM coil packs are more reliable. I had to return 1 new aftermarket coil pack that was bad from the get go. It's best to test each one with the vehicle on.
Another issue I fixed was replacing the rubber boot that attaches to the MAF. Sizable leak by the coupler and all dried out. G'luck.

The MAF cleaner isn't working. The car started vibrating again. When I stop at a light, I can hear a noise from under the hood and and still smell fumes.
This is really frustrating because I can't fix cars. I have someone doing this for me. He told me to take it in to get a diagnostic because he can't figure it out. He said because it runs good for a while then bad is something with the electrical.

are you still pulling codes?
also you said smell and misfires:
to be clear, what kind of plugs did you put in? NGKs are highly agreed upon here at the org.
You changed 2 coilpacks. Coilpacks are suspect as they can cause vibration and misfires. But, if you are not using NGK plugs, this becomes less likely. One or more of the original four could be bad as well? Possibly... one of the two new purchased might be worn or out of range (if used, and aftermarket are known to come bad a percentage of the time)
Smell - Fuel smell? misfire might indicate injectors. (what kind of gas do you use? 87, 89 or 90+?) if not already bump it up to highest and add a bottle of techron/lucas to clean it up. if things clear up a bit then you might have a weak injector. This might help. When was the fuel filter last changed?
TLDR;
Check the codes again, if any and get back to us.
What kind of plugs were they?
Do the coilpack test again
Gas Quality? Run an additive..
Last time Fuel filter was replaced?
Dont do all this at once - but step by step so you find the issue and solve it
