I have a 97 Maxima. Recently upon starting the car would start weakly. This was after I had gotten a new alternator. Shortly after that the car wouldn't start at all. All the lights come on in the front dash but the engine won't even turn over. Even with a new battery the same thing occurred.

What do you guys think the problem is?

 

What does it do when you turn the key? Rapid clicking or just a single click?
