Another door locking problem...ive been searching!
ever since i bought my 98 gle 100k, the drivers door lock would act funny...when i use the fob to lock the doors that would go ok..but when using the fob to unlock the doors , the drivers side wouldnt unlock..upon trying different things i noticed if i lock the doors with the button then imediately hit the unlock button the drivers door would unlock(with a harder "bang"type noise...fast forward...today i went to unlock the doors with the button and i heard the usual unlocking noise but none of the doors unlocked so i uesed the key(which wasnt to smooth) then i went in and hit the unlock button on the drivers door to unlock the pass side for someone and it wouldnt unlock the passenger door...ive read alot of threads about it and seems like a common issue as the 4th gen ages....has anyone had the same problem and changed something that would help the whole issue?...i havecome to the conclusion the drivers lock is wore out or needs greasing but ive never had all of them act up like this..could it be the ignition switch wearing out? ive read that could be it...
sorry for the looong post!

My door locks spaz out sometimes. I unlock with keyfob and it relocks leaving passenger front unlocked. Or apon exit as soon as driver door closes it would lock all doors except passenger front. My car is a 96 gle 245k. It's been doing it randomly since 130k. I haven't looked into it. I attributed to old age.

Pull the master switch out from the driver door arm rest, unplug the plug, then replug it back in, push back to armrest, this is kind of like reset whatever the locking glitch, at least it worked for me few times.
