Need advice quick......

Today I tried to take off my filter to install my pop charger. I got 3 of the 4 screws off. Then I couldn't get the 4th one off. So I tried to put the other 3 screws back on but they wouldn't go back in. My filter is still connected just w/ out 3 of the screws. I need some advice on what to do. How much would it cost to take it somewhere to get my pop charger installed? Help me out here.........any advice will help.

Why could you not get the screw off. Was it the bottom one on the inside?

Use an open ended wrench. It worked great for me. I think its 10mm.

Use a phillips screwdriver

If the six sides are stripped, use a phillips, mine had it.

Spray the bolt at both ends overnight or a couple hours b4 you work on it w/ some WD-40 or equivalent. You should be able to get past this minor roadblock without paying a shop.

If you need more help, holler back - someone here will be able to help you on this, 4-sure.

Good luck!

There is this box in the way of the screw. This is the only reason that i can not get the screw off. If you have a 97 you will see what I am saying. Please keep feeding me more info. Thanks.

Use a small pair of pressure pliers or something to get that out. May the force be with you!
