I don't see why they wouldn't. The y mates to the original exhaust manifold so it should mate to the headers.

One thing to be aware of if you are installing the headers, at least in the version I have, is that you have to tighten things down in stages. Basically, try to get everything loosely assembled, then tighten down.

It can be a real pain in the ***.

Not even close. Aftermarket Y pipes bolt to the stock manifolds. Cattman headers are longer and you need to use the matching Y.

Only headers that fit aftermarket y pipes are the xs power/eBay shorty headers. I have them paired with a budget Y and noticed a small increase in power via the butt dyno. However I'd recommend getting at the least obx v2 headers or better. Wish I'd had.

Guess I'm off then. But what I dont understand is that my cattman y fit the stock manifold. Then I added the Cattman headers. And they fit.

So, how did the cattman y fit the stock manifold?

Are you sure you don't have Stillen headers?

If you installed a CATTMAN y pipe and it fit to stock manifolds and than you added headers which also fit the same y pipe than you do not have CATTMAN headers, those headers are only and only able to fit with the supplied y pipe,

I have cattman for certain. Been in my sig for years.

And I'm absolutely certain about the installation since I did it all myself.

Edit - just realized this is 4 th gen. Mine are on my 2k. Perhaps that is the difference.

Cattman headers are for 95-03. They are all basically the same animal. There have been a few different designs over the years. Still, none work in conjunction with a stock replacement Y. Only shorty headers work with a separate Y. Stillen made a short production run, the rest have been SS Autochrome or XS Power and their knock offs.

Then my memory on installation must be wrong. I know I had the y first but guess I must have replaced it when I got the headers. Weird. I usually remember that stuff. Must be old age!
