Massive chip in the hood!

Massive chip in the hood!

It's only a small divot, about 1/8th of an inch, but it went all the way to the metal. It's also right on the edge of the hood, near the corner by the headlight. There's another 'puncture wound' not far from it which leads me to believe that something hit the car while I was driving and I didn't notice it until now.

Time for a trip to the body shop.

Or I wonder what carbon-fiber hoods are going for these days....

btw, CF hoods are not chip proof either.. just that you can re-clear them.. ive chipped & cracked them
