Engine turns off

I am having a problem with my engine just shutting off. Usually this happens while stopped or slowing down to a stop. A few times it has quit while going down the road. It will usually only do it a time or two a day. Sometimes it will go a few days and not do it at all. Its as if you just switched off the key. The car remains on ( electrical....ect). It will usually start right back up. When on, the engine purs like a cat, no rough idle problems. I have reaplaced the MAF, fuel filter and Crankshaft sensor. I am going to clean the IAC today. ANy suggestions? Its really got me stumped. Thanks

Maybe your replacement MAF is bad.

I am not getting any error codes being thrown. Could it still be a bad MAF? Additionally, forgive my ignorance, but whats does TB stand for? Thanks

check the two electrical plugs at battery, there plugged into the positive terminal.. Mine were loose, causing me to loose power for a split second while slowing down..

Also, if that MAF is not OEM, get back an OEM one as the aftermarket ones are horrible with these cars.

Lately the car doesn't turn off, but will run really rough at idle or the RPMs will fluctuate wildly while going down the highway.
