Ecu problems relocate?

I have an off road only dirt circle track race car 98 w/automatic it's been super reliable all season long. Recently had a collision and it was running like crap 1320 code along with a few others and raw fuel pouring from bank 1. I have a parts car so I went ahead and replaced the common stuff according to this forum coils, injectors and reworked grounds but none of it fixed it. As a last resort I swapped in a 95 manual trans computer that I thought I read in here was not compatible but it works perfectly now and want to keep it that way. I am hoping for suggestions on how to protect the ecu a little better from the elements like water especially since I have no windshield and lots of vibrations. I am thinking of using a small sealed box with foam surrounding it but concerned with overheating. Other ideas?

I would try to put an "umbrella" type cover or shield over the ECU. Something that would prevent any water that might drip on it from actually getting on it. I would make sure that the connector end was completely covered.

Mount it with the wires facing down and put a zip loc freezer bag over it.
