Rewired Blinkers

ok well I have no turn signal now ,I follwed the instructions from maximadriver.com and cut the black wire(ground i assume)from the side lamp and spliced it into the green(power i assume)frome the turn signal all that did for me was blowing many fuses... I must be missing something cause this is not working....... any advice would be greatly appreciated ....i really need turn signals

thanks
john

The black wire that you cut, did you use the end coming from the lamp, or the end coming out of the harness to connect to the green wire?

Dumb question:

I looked on the maxdriver website, but I cannot find what the blinker mod is for?

Thanks!
